Wife and Mother Journal

My dearest Journal,
Everyday I wake up being thankful for the government of Shop, Swipe, and Shush. They know how to take care of their citizens. If it was not for them, I would not have been able to finish my studies as a teenager, marry at the right age, and have three beautiful children who also have the opportunnity to do well. The government is our savior. Before, I though that there was no hope in having a better life because my family was so poor at the Greed, Grudge, and Grinch island, but then we moved here for free and it was the best thing that has ever happened to me. Now, my family and I are properly taken care of through the help of the government.
I have simple tasks, duties, and responsibilies to complete every day. All I have to do is go to work, pick up my kids from school, cook dinner for my dear family, and make sure that my husband and my kids day went well. My job is to make sure they are happy. If I am ever even in the slightest bit of trouble with money, I just have to fill out a "Happiness Fulfillment" form and write out the things my family and I need and want. I am so grateful that life is much more simple on the island of Shop, Swipe, and Shush than on Greed, Grudge, and Grinch. I am actually excited to wake up the next morning because I have no worries!
You want to know something, my ever so dearest Jounarl? Sometimes I slip in a lie or two on the "Happiness Fulfillment" form just because I need a little bit of retail therapy myself. I always try not go overboard though. I just buy at least three new heels a month. My family has not found out yet, so hopefully the secret never gets out. I do not want them to think I am materialistic. It is just the only breather I get from being a wife and mother and girls just wanna shop!

Accountant of Shop, Swipe, and Shush Journal

Journal,
Today was a real pain in the you know what. I know that we said the citizens are not to complain, but this has got to be the millionth "Happiness Fulfillment" form that I have approved. I really hope all these citizens that are turning in these forms have good intentions and are not illegally filling them out. We give them money but we cannot possibly direct every single dollar and cent to the item that the citizen needs or wants. So, hopefully they are putting the money they receive to good use and we are putting the money in the proper hands.
Everyday, I come to the office and sit down for eight hours and go through dozens of forms. It gets tiring because sometimes I know that some of the things people put on the forms are not reasonable, but I still have to be optimistic and approve it. I think I work the hardeset out of the rest of the government because I am the only one who handles to paperwork and money issues. I get no help whatsoever. Imagine having stacks and stacks of paper on your desk everyday and once you are done with one stack there is still a trail of them left. It gets tiring.
Whenever I need to relax, I always go to the church that is in the Shop House, which is also the headquarters of the president. I pray during my breaks and my lunches because that is what calms me down. I do not usually have an appetite after all the paperwork I go through, so it is my way to relax. I just pray hoping that I will find some peace of mind. At the end of the day, I am relieved because I go home to my loving family and am thankful I have them to keep me sane. At night, I always wonder why I do not just steal all the island's money and run away with my family since I get so tired of my job. I guess I'll always be wondering that, Journal.

High School Student Journal

Dear Journal,
Life is extremely great. My days are super simple and easy. I am a senior in high school so all I am really looking forward to is graduating and hopefully going to a nice university somewhere in California since I know money is not a problem in the society I live in. I know other islands are in ruts and having a lot of money problems, so I always try to keep the complaining to a minimum. I always pray before I go to sleep and hope for a good day at school and work, something I do. We only go to school Monday through Thursday, but work Monday through Saturday. Sunday is left for relaxation and helping parents complete paperwork.
In the morning, I wake up at six fourty five in the morning and get ready for school. Since I am eighteen and have my license, my mother and father filled out a "Happiness Fulfillment" form just so I could have a car to drive. It takes me about fifteen minutes to get to my school, Happiness High School. I have six blocks and I have to attend every one of them or else the money that the government provides for my mother and father will be revoked. Everyday after school, which is at two o' clock, I head to work at one of our shopping malls, Happy Halls. I work in the Forever Happy store and it is so fun. I love clothes and all the cute guys that come in!
I end up at home at around seven o' clock and by then I am very tired. But, of couse I still have to complete my homework assignments for the night. Usually by seven o' clock everyone in my family is home, so before I start my homework we have dinner. My job after dinner is to log down the waste of the food, if any, so that we can let the government know. I guess they keep track of wastes because they are trying to find out ways how to distribute food so that there is less waste. I cannot ever sleep at night so it is really hard when it is midnight. Once it hits midnight, all lights all over the island must be out. So goodnight, Journal!

Utopian Animal

The Yorkshire Terrier is the animal of my utopia because, just like the Yorkshire Terrier, the society must be carefully taken care of. The loyalty of the government to the citizens is like the loyalty of a Yorkshire Terrier to its owner, always present. The Yorkshire Terrier acts as a campanion to their owner, which is similar to the governement and society of Shop, Swipe, and Shush. The government takes proper care of the society and act as partners. They help each other out. When the soceity needs money, the governments provides for them and when the Yorkshire Terrier needs food, the owner will provide it with something to eat.

Utopian Motto and Seal

The seal has the motto of "Shop, Swipe, and Shush" because that is what the citizens of the society should do in order to recieve aid from the government. They should shop to provide for themseleves and their families, swipe their debit cards, and shush and not complain about money being a problem. It is black to represent the boldness and strength of the society. The gold represents the honor and worth of the society as a whole since it is hands linking and holding the heart and happiness of society together. The white represents the purity of our society and how marriage and having children should be done at a ceratin age and at the appropriate time. There is a big present in the middle of the seal the represent all the money everyone recieves for all their needs and wants. There is a crown on the heart to express that everyone in the soceity deserves and should be respected and treated properly.
